Spy photographers have caught an early platform mule for the next-generation Land Rover Discovery Sport.
The current Discovery Sport first hit the market in 2015, so don’t expect to see the next-generation model until 2020 or 2021. But early development work has begun with a mule spotted wearing the body of the current-generation model with a few changes. The fuel cap has been moved and the exhaust doesn’t feature the same setup found in the current model. Instead of having a single pipe on each side, this mule has a twin exhaust on the driver’s side.

The Discovery Sport has received minor changes and tweaks each model year since it was first introduced, and will likely continue to get updates until the next-generation model arrives. Expect a minor refresh to debut by the end of 2018.
