In addition, the 2014 Evoque will also the see the addition of a standard Active Driveline “on demand” four-wheel-drive system. To further aid in enhancing fuel economy, the all-wheel-drive Evoque could switch to front-wheel drive in steady conditions above 22 mph. Switching back to all-wheel drive only takes 300 milliseconds. Also for the 2014 model year, torque vectoring by braking will be standard on the four-wheel-drive Evoque models.

Technology upgrades include parking assist, lane departure and traffic sign recognition systems, and a wade sensor. According to Land Rover, wade sensing uses sensors in the door mirrors to provide the driver with information when driving through water.
